Service Manager - NSW
We are an Australian company with a national presence recognised for building modern energy solutions in the pursuit of energy efficiency, reliability, and emissions reduction.
Our diverse workforce delivers modern hot water, steam and furnace solutions and services to industrial and commercial businesses across Australia.
We provide solution and energy efficiency consulting, system design and Project Management covering EPC, and maintenance across steam and hot water infrastructure. We also deliver specialist industry training to upskill operators and technicians in organisations with boiler solutions.
The job
State Service Managers are intrinsic to the success of the O’Brien business and their duties are broad. Some of your remit will include:
- Working with key customers to ensure they receive accurate and timely technician service and support.
- Continuous improvement across client satisfaction, service and maintenance.
- Contribute to financial management and reporting.
- Technician team management, recruitment, development and growth.
- Engage with the scheduling team and provide strategic workforce management.
- Ensure that safety is an absolute priority.
This position will be based at our Preston NSW office.
This is a Senior position in the business and will require you to engage with Clients and the wider business.
Requirements

This position will suit someone with 5+ years of service management and operations, coordination, and planning experience. A qualified trade or engineering background will serve you well. You will require interpersonal and communication skills commensurate with the level of this position.
A valid driver’s license is essential.
