Full Time Position
We are currently looking for an experienced, committed and professional Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is full time, and a great competitive salary will be offered to the right candidate.
The duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Administering all phases of front-of-house operations (from reservations, to hosting, and all aspects of customer service).
- Ensuring great-tasting, high-quality food is served. Assembly of cooked food on Grill, Fryers or other heating devices. Packing and assembly as per the house rules and formulas
- Menu planning in conjunction with the head chef.
- Planning and organizing special functions, events and catering.
- Delivering customer service and maximize customer satisfaction. Managing all delivery platforms like Uber Eats etc.
- Listening and responding efficiently and accurately to customer feedback and consistently working to ensure positive customer experiences
- Maximizing the bookings through reservations platforms
- Stock maintenance, purchasing, and adhering to budgets
- Maintaining records of client and supplier financial transactions
- Training, developing and cross-training of all team members, supervisors and assistant managers
- Management of staff including rostering, shift changes and team meetings
- Executing marketing promotions
- Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
- Compiling, preparing and maintaining profit and loss statements, budgets and cost controls
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S, food handling and related codes
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
Qualification: Diploma in Business Management or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor CertificateKnowledge and certification of understanding Allergens
Experience:- A minimum of two years' management experience in the industry.
- Strong people skills with a friendly and courteous 'can do' attitude.
- Ability to multi – task and adapt to changing customer levels as required
- A demonstrated interest in and knowledge of modern Indian cuisine, including Indian Street Food. Preparation skills for converting cooked food into finished products.
- A sound understanding of product and labour costs.
- An ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in a busy and ever-changing work environment.
