Motor Mechanic

Midas Flagstone Tyre & Auto Service is seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in the Flagstone location. If you have a passion for working with vehicles, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service, we’d love to hear from you.

ANNUAL SALARY: $ 74,000 - $ 80,000

• Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
• Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are operating at optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Provide clear and professional advice to customers regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience as a motor mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair techniques, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
