Chef de Partie

Placed.au is looking for a full-time Chef de Partie for our client in Yallingup Siding, Western Australia. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, supporting kitchen operations, and maintaining strong food safety and presentation standards within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Job Description:

• Prepare and maintain excellent standards of food preparation and presentation for a range of meal types
• Cook and prepare a range of meals for guests of the venue to a high-quality standard
• Amend recipe items as required to cater for those with special dietary requirements and food allergies
• Assist the Head Chef and management to create new menu items in accordance with the current menu, seasonality of ingredients, and budget
• Ensure food standards, procedures, and processes are followed
• Supervise junior kitchen staff as required and train junior staff on an assortment of cooking techniques
• Assist and support other kitchen staff members to ensure the kitchen is operating as efficiently as possible
• Order ingredients and kitchen supplies as required
• Ensure the quality of received products and ensure the correct storage of ingredients in accordance with the FIFO method
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is in line with current health regulation standards
• Ensure the kitchen is operating in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety standards

• Must hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a relevant field, or at least three (3) years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification
• Must possess at least one (1) year of relevant work experience as a Chef or Chef de Partie
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and passion for cooking
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work effectively within a team

Salary Range

$75,000 – $90,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
