Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year
Common Ground, a vibrant cafe in the heart of Sydney that offers a unique brunch experience like no other. Founded in 2016, Common Ground has quickly become a favourite among locals and tourists alike, thanks to its mouthwatering menu of creative brunch dishes.
Common Ground Coffee & Kitchen is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated chef to join their team.
Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:- Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
- Creativity and high presentation standards
- Ability to create dishes with consistency
- Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
- Ability to contribute to menu planning
- Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
- Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
- Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
- Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
- Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
