Community Homecare Worker
Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting people to live independently. We are currently looking for people who are experienced in providing companionship, domestic care, meal preparation and general support for our clients in their homes.

The role:
This role involves travelling between client’s homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Helping participants achieve goals set within their care plans
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
- Performs work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
- Services generally between the hours of 6am-6pm Monday to Friday. However, there may be some weekend shifts on the odd occasion.
What you will need:
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Valid Working Rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
- Smartphone with internet access
