As the company continues to expand its presence, Smize & Dream is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead one of its locations. Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Smize & Dream store, ensuring smooth execution, alignment with brand values, and consistently outstanding customer service.
- Deliver a fun, imaginative in-store experience that reflects the Smize & Dream brand, making every visit memorable and aligned with the company's mission to inspire and delight.
- Manage inventory levels and monitor stock movement of signature ice cream flavours and merchandise, ensuring timely replenishment and availability of key products.
- Implement effective stock management strategies to optimize back-of-house operations and maintain a visually appealing retail space.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients, branded packaging, and promotional materials at competitive rates.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of employees, fostering a creative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment that brings the Smize & Dream vision to life.
- Monitor store financials including daily sales, expenses, and budget forecasts, with the goal of increasing profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and product preferences to make informed decisions that enhance both revenue and the customer experience.
- Plan and execute themed promotional events, seasonal campaigns, and marketing initiatives that reflect the brand’s personality and increase foot traffic and engagement.
- Ensure the store adheres to all health and safety regulations, food handling protocols, and company compliance standards while creating a safe and joyful environment for staff and customers.
Work Experience and Skills:
- Relevant Diploma qualification
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a managerial role.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to learn quickly.
- Strategic thinker with an innovative approach and excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills, capable of inspiring and motivating teams effectively.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
