Carpenter

Elevate Construction Projects is a Brisbane based construction company focusing on structural building contracting - with over a decade of experience across all aspects of the building process from breaking ground to completion. We are conducting a search for a dedicated and skilled Carpenter with minimum 1 year of experience to join our team on full-time basis.

Position Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, plywood, and drywall.
• Install structures and fixtures, including windows, doors, floors, cabinets, and staircases.
• Repair or replace damaged woodwork, furniture, and frameworks.
• Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and nail guns.
• Inspect completed projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Work with other construction professionals, such as electricians, plumbers, and painters.
• Follow safety regulations and ensure a clean and secure work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant qualification
• At least 1 year work experience
• Enjoy practical work.
• Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
• Able to work with your hands.
• Good sense of balance and ability to work at heights.
• Good at mathematics.

Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
