What you'll do:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide assistance with payment activities within the accounts payable function. You will ensure that vendor invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Your role will involve end-to-end management of the accounts payable function, including processing invoices, preparing payments, reconciling balances, reviewing supplier statements, and liaising with stakeholders.Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring there are no discrepancies in suppliers' invoices.
- End-to-end management of the accounts payable function
- Processing invoices, matching, coding, and data entry
- Preparation and processing of both local and international payments
- Reconciliation of vendor aged creditors balances
- Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements
- Ensuring there are no discrepancies in supplier's invoices
- Setting up online banking payments correctly
- Liaising with all key stakeholders and suppliers to resolve discrepancies
- Processing regional and off-site expense/petty cash reimbursements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Officer role brings a wealth of experience in high-volume accounts payable roles. You possess a high level of computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel, and have a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be highly regarded. Your exceptional attention to detail, coupled with excellent time management skills, enables you to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
