On behalf of Safety Roof Anchors, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join the business. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, implementing, and continuously improving the company’s quality assurance systems, manufacturing compliance procedures, product inspection processes, and operational standards to ensure all products, manufacturing activities, and operational practices consistently comply with relevant Australian Standards, workplace safety obligations, and internal quality requirements.
Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks- Developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving quality assurance systems, compliance procedures, and quality control frameworks across manufacturing and operational activities
- Establishing and overseeing quality control processes for the manufacture, inspection, testing, traceability, and dispatch of height safety products and anchor systems
- Ensuring products, materials, manufacturing procedures, and operational practices comply with relevant Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and internal quality requirements
- Coordinating product inspections, testing procedures, technical documentation, and manufacturing compliance activities to maintain product reliability and operational consistency
- Investigating product defects, non-conformances, customer complaints, and operational quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
- Monitoring supplier and component quality standards, including reviewing technical specifications, compliance documentation, and material consistency
- Conducting internal quality audits, compliance reviews, and operational assessments to identify risks and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining quality records, inspection reports, testing logs, compliance registers, and other technical documentation associated with manufacturing operations
- Liaising with management, manufacturing staff, suppliers, installers, and external stakeholders regarding quality standards, compliance requirements, and operational improvements
- Supporting the implementation of workplace quality procedures, manufacturing controls, staff quality awareness initiatives, and risk management processes to improve product quality, efficiency, consistency, and compliance outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor qualification in Business, Quality Management, Manufacturing Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of work experience with quality assurance systems and compliance procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
- Understanding of manufacturing quality control and technical documentation processes.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package of $76,000 - $90,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
