About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at Plumboss, you will be the face of a respected Australian brand, representing a range of innovative products that are revolutionising the plumbing industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the road, enjoys the freedom of a hybrid working model, and is ready to make a tangible impact in VIC, SA, and TAS markets.
Your days will be diverse and dynamic, selling to retailers, demonstrating equipment, and conducting face-to-face meetings with new and existing clients. You will actively identify and engage prospective customers through cold calling and strategic lead generation, while also maintaining and growing relationships with key accounts.Success in this role requires a balance of practical, hands-on engagement and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sell products to retailers, providing tailored solutions and building long-term relationships.
- Perform machinery demonstrations, with a hands-on, practical approach.
- Cold-call prospective customers, identify new leads, and hold regular new business meetings.
- Maintain strong account management practices, nurturing existing clients to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Leverage ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets for reporting, client data management, and sales tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Travel across Victoria, and potentially South Australia, and Tasmania to engage with clients and expand market reach.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements- Proven experience in business development or account management, ideally in a related industry such as plumbing, tools, or construction.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to engage in practical, hands-on activities, including equipment demonstrations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to cold call and connect with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel for managing client data and creating detailed reports.
- A results-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
