The Role
The Social Media Manager leads Ticketek’s organic social strategy, driving engagement, community growth, and brand awareness across major platforms. This role requires a creative, independent thinker with strong knowledge of social trends and platform best practices
Requirements
What does a day in the life look like?- Strategy and planning – optimise and execute the social media strategy, own the content calendar, partner with internal teams to support ticket sales and key milestones
- Content creative and management – refine and schedule event content to maximise engagement and reach, create compelling visual content to support brand and product marketing
- Analytics and optimisation – track KPIs across channels, optimise content and strategies based on insights and social trends
- Collaboration and stakeholder management – monitor DMs and comments and escalate to relevant teams (where required), work closely with internal Marketing teams to align content plans and advise on best practice, represent the social voice during key on sales, announcements and major event days
- Degree qualified with 3-5 years’ experience in social media management
- Strong copywriting and content ideation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, time and deadline management
- Proven track record of growing engaged audiences and executing high-impact organic social media campaigns
- Proficiency with social platforms (Meta Business Suite, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Hootsuite) and Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
- Interest in live entertainment, music or sport required
