Known for its laid-back charm, live entertainment, and warm hospitality, we're now looking to elevate our kitchen with a skilled and passionate Chef who can lead service and deliver bold, flavourful dishes that keep diners coming back.

Position: Full-Time Chef
Salary: $76,000 + Superannuation
What You’ll Be Cooking Up
As the Chef, you’ll take the reins of kitchen operations, bringing both consistency and creativity to the table. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing, planning, and executing seasonal menus and daily specials that reflect our brand and appeal to locals and tourists alike
- Preparing a variety of meals, including grill plates, pub classics, modern Aussie dishes, and share platters
- Estimating food costs and managing ingredient sourcing, portioning, and stock control
- Leading kitchen staff in prep, cooking, and plating under busy service conditions
- Maintaining strict food hygiene and workplace health & safety standards
- Overseeing storage, handling, and waste management procedures
- Mentoring junior kitchen staff and upholding a high-performance, team-first culture
- Reviewing and improving processes to ensure consistency, speed, and quality of service
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent practical experience with at least one-two years in a Chef role)
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen (pub or bistro experience highly regarded)
- Strong leadership and multitasking abilities
- A flair for balancing pub favourites with modern twists
- Excellent understanding of Australian food safety regulations (HACCP knowledge essential)
- Team spirit, with clear and confident communication skills
- A passion for food, hospitality, and crafting memorable dining experiences
