Full-Time | $77,500 + Superannuation

An opportunity exists for an experienced Motel Manager to oversee the operations of a 25-room motel in the Snowy Monaro Region, NSW. The property has recently undergone significant upgrades and operates as a modern, efficiently managed accommodation business.

With clear systems in place and a recently upgraded, turnkey operation, you will be well positioned for success and able to focus on delivering excellent guest experiences while driving the ongoing performance of the business.

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of a 25-room motel, ensuring efficient accommodation services and high guest satisfaction.
• Direct and oversee reservation, reception, guest check-in/check-out procedures and online booking systems.
• Manage guest enquiries, complaints and service recovery to maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Supervise, train, roster and monitor motel staff, including housekeeping, cleaning and front-of-house personnel.
• Oversee housekeeping, linen, laundry and room presentation standards to ensure consistent cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Monitor room pricing, occupancy levels, revenue performance and online travel agent/channel distribution.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, contractor engagement and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Manage stock levels, purchasing and operational supplies required for motel operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, fire safety, accommodation standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, cost control, supplier costs, staff hours, financial reporting and overall operational performance.
• Operate and optimise motel systems, including property management, booking, channel management and reporting systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ongoing corporate, government and repeat customers to support occupancy and revenue.
• Review customer feedback and implement operational improvements to improve guest satisfaction and business performance

• Minimum 1 year full-time relevant experience in motel, hotel, or accommodation management
• Relevant qualification (Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management or similar) preferred
• Strong leadership and staff management capabilities
• Experience with property management systems (e.g. Guestpoint, RMS or similar)
• Ability to manage operations independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Salary: $77,500 per annum + superannuation
• Onsite accommodation (2-bedroom residence) included
• Long-term position in a growing regional tourism market
