such as Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced full-time chef to join our team.

The role and key responsibilities:

• Open and set up kitchen for lunch and dinner service
• Create and organize the daily specials and menus
• Prepare and cook food
• Control food & labour costs, manage and maintain inventory
• Enforce standards for food rotation, storage, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain health and safety codes and adhere to health and safety regulations
• Ensure the maintenance of cleaning schedules for equipment, work areas and storage
• Manage and train new kitchen staff when required

Our ideal candidate:

• Diploma qualification in relevant field. Cert III or IV in Commercial cookery is mandatory

• Relevant Sri Lankan food knowledge and cooking skills is a must
• Reliable and flexible
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
• Attention to detail
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner
