We are hiring for 2 x enthusiastic Restaurant Managers to lead our floor, catering and a newly acquired function centre teams for Barangaroo NSW and Richmond NSW locations.
We offer an excellent workplace with opportunities for growth and development. These roles are full-time with a remuneration of $135,000 to $140,000 plus superannuation depending on skills and attributes of the candidate.
Reporting to the Director, the Restaurant Manager tasks are to manage the entire floor, catering and function centre operations that includes staff management, oversee customer service delivery, contribute to the business growth through strategic planning and harness sales with tact and leading employees by example.
Tasks and Duties:- Daily management of entire floor, catering and function centre operations
- Overall management of customer service portfolio including complaints handling and resolutions, evaluating feedback and implementing suggestions.
- Recruit, induct and train inexperienced employees to fully functional level.
- Study trends and make recommendations to modify dishes to enhance sales.
- Plan and create menus based on commercial success and market prices.
- Implement strategies to minimise waste and optimise usage of food & poultry.
- Responsible for stock control of consumables and non-consumable items, and their sourcing, purchase, and quality assurance.
- Manage rosters, staff leave, daily head count, assign duties and review tasks.
- Monitor employees for professionalism and presentation, and performance manage, and mentor as required.
- Contribute to the business growth through successful planning and management of events, functions, and parties.
- Responsible for employee compliance with the food and hygiene, WHS, fire and hazard prevention and workplace sanitation requirements;
Desirable skills: Some hospitality experience, leadership, and staff management.
English competency level is a must requirement.
