The Role
The Sustainability Finance Analyst will support the integration of ESG and climate-related risks into financial planning and reporting. Working across finance and sustainability teams, the role focuses on ESG data analysis, sustainable finance, and regulatory reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams to gather and validate data and insights for both regulatory and voluntary ESG disclosures.
- Support the development and implementation of systems, templates, and frameworks for ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct regular data quality reviews, resolving inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide support and guidance on ESG data management and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse environmental data to inform the planning and delivery of initiatives aimed at reducing emissions, energy use, and waste.
- Track and report on sustainability KPIs aligned with organisational ESG strategies and project goals.
- Contribute to the development of business cases that underpin environmental sustainability and broader ESG initiatives.
- Assist the Financial Reporting team with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
- CPA or CA qualified- Big Four experience will be highly regarded.
- 2-4 years' experience in finance, sustainability reporting, ESG analysis, or a related field.
