About the Position

Job Title: Heritage Consultant
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation

Location: Fremantle WA 6160

Purpose of the Role

The Heritage Consultant will provide support to Team Leads or Senior Heritage Consultants in both fieldwork and office-based tasks. The role encompasses delivering high-quality heritage consultancy services while adhering to Terra Rosa’s policies, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering effective stakeholder relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Field-Based Tasks
  • Conduct surveys and site recording activities in alignment with Terra Rosa’s methodologies and approaches.
  • Assist with field logistics to ensure seamless operations.
  • Execute tasks in accordance with Terra Rosa and proponent policies, with a focus on work health and safety compliance.
  • Collect and manage data to maintain high levels of quality and accuracy.
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  1. Office-Based Tasks
  • Follow project priorities as directed by the Team Lead, Engagement Manager(s), or Senior Management.
  • Prepare for, attend, or lead project meetings as required.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Adhere to Terra Rosa’s operational, financial, and administrative processes and procedures.
  • Participate actively in Terra Rosa’s mentoring programs and professional development initiatives.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Traditional Owners, proponents, and other stakeholders.
  1. Compliance and Knowledge Development
  • Develop a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure informed decision-making and

project compliance.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience Required
  • At least an AQF Bachelor degree (equivalent) or higher with highly relevant major field of study in Archaeology; and
  • At least five years’ of relevant experience;
