Engineering Technologist

Full-time Engineering Technologist position available with a competitive salary. Work in a dynamic team in Docklands VIC 3008.

We are currently seeking a qualified and driven Engineering Technologist to join our team and contribute to the optimisation and management of complex building systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engineering solutions for building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct detailed analysis and troubleshooting of engineering systems to identify and resolve technical issues, improving overall system performance and reliability.
• Oversee engineering projects from conception through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all engineering activities adhere to relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations. Implement measures to maintain a safe working environment and mitigate risks.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of engineering processes, system designs, and modifications. Provide regular reports on project progress and system performance.
• Work closely with other engineering professionals, property managers, and maintenance staff to achieve optimal results and address any system-related concerns.
• Stay current with advancements in engineering technology and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Experience working on building services or similar infrastructure projects preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of compliance requirements and safety standards

Salary: From $80,000 to $90,000 per annum (exclusive superannuation).
