Job Description- Oversee and manage engineering teams to ensure successful ecommerce project delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise technology systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align engineering goals with business objectives.
- Lead and collaborate with third party vendors, particularly ecommerce platform vendors.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all ecommerce engineering projects.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain operational efficiency.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their integration where beneficial.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Ecommerce Engineering Manager should have:
- A strong background in engineering management, particularly within technology-focused environments.
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering successful projects in the retail ecommerce industry.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

- Day rate ranging from $1000 to $1200 AUD, depending on experience and expertise.
