Position Overview: The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating a marketing strategy and calendar to increase brand awareness and uniformity across the food and beverage sites of the organisation. This will include strategic planning, creation of an advertising and promotion strategy as well as the execution of various digital marketing campaigns for all food and beverage sites across 4 prime locations, The Windsor Alehouse, The Oxford Scholar, The Mahony Catering Group, Swanston Street Melbourne and Harvey’s Sport Bar & Grill.
The role will work across digital and print marketing as well as Public Relations, Communications and Advertising.- Develop marketing campaigns for all food and beverage venues, including short- and long term online marketing strategies.
- Regular reporting on sales and success of marketing campaigns, including analysis on areas for improvement as well as reporting through Google Analytics.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Identify growth opportunities.
- Create and execute paid and non-paid growth campaigns to increase sales and report on ROI.
- Review and monitor corporate websites recommend improvements.
- Design, identify and create automated email campaigns.
- Work with Venue Operations Managers to create bespoke campaigns for each venue including the creation of a group themed campaign of upcoming events, for example Christmas in July, Grand Prix.
- Develop strategies for increasing social media presence, e.g. increase follows and traffic/sales from socials.
- Manage social media accounts, including posting content and implementing strategies for growing followers. Ensure all information on social media sites is accurate, up to date and relevant including our catalogue of videos.
- Develop a reporting process that provides both quantitative and qualitative feedback as to the outcomes of each campaign undertaken.
- Degree diploma in marketing or related field.
- 4-6 years digital marketing experience
- Leadership experience in a marketing role with a passion for the digital space.
- Experience and passion for the hospitality sector.
- Passion for identifying and trialing new opportunities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
