About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Coordinator to join their P&C team. The role focuses on strategic and operational workforce planning, creating organised and structured schedules and roster timetables. The role will also support the P&C team with generalist P&C administration duties, including recruitment, employment contracts and onboarding processes.

This is a fully on-site role, initially starting on a temporary contract, with the potential to go permanent.

Duties

As the Workforce Planning Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Develop and implement workforce strategies and schedules aligned with the organisation's work needs, interpreting the EBA and Awards to adhere to working hours and entitlements of staff members.
  • Roster Management: Create and manage staffing rosters for Early Childhood Service staff, collaborating with Early Years Advisors and Centre leaders.
  • Casual Relief Pool Management: Oversee the Casual Relief Pool function, ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Contract Administration: Manage employment contracts, variations, and secondments in collaboration with People & Culture Business Partners.
  • Generalist P&C Duties: Supporting the P&C team with issuing employment contracts, end to end recruitment processes, maintaining employment records and policy interpretation.

Skills & Experience

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar.
  • Experience in Workforce Planning.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and relevant Awards.
  • Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills.
  • Have full working rights in Australia.
  • Have a Driver's License.
