Job Description

The Principal Project Advisor will have the following responsibilities:

• Providing strategic advice on complex projects within the Engineering department.
• Managing project plans, time lines, budgets, and risks.
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverable are met.
• Ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Facilitating communication between project teams, management, and stakeholders.
• Reporting on project progress and outcomes to senior management.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to project management practices.
• Contributing to the development of strategic plans and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Principal Project Advisor should have:

• Relevant degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven technical experience gained within the rolling stock industry.
• Proven experience in strategic advice and project management within the public sector.
• Strong skills in managing complex projects, with a focus on delivering results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A solid understanding of the Engineering & Manufacturing industry.
