ICT Support Engineer
White Spot Group is seeking a skilled and proactive ICT Support Engineer to provide comprehensive IT support, ensuring seamless operation of our hardware, software, and network systems. This role focuses on managing IT infrastructure, supporting employee transitions, and maintaining the IT ticketing system, while contributing to key aspects like staff training, data analytics, and digital strategy alignment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties (not limited to)- Technical Support and Systems Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and maintain IT systems, including workstations, servers, and network devices.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets through the ticketing system, meeting resolution timelines and maintaining service quality.
- Ensure systems are regularly updated, secured, and backed up to mitigate risks and downtime.
- Employee Onboarding and Offboarding (Integrated Elements)
- Set up IT accounts, devices, and access permissions for new hires as part of seamless onboarding.
- Conduct IT inductions to introduce company systems, software, and protocols effectively.
- Oversee offboarding by deactivating accounts, recovering company assets, and managing secure data retention.
- Staff Training and Support (Integrated Elements)
- Provide initial and ongoing IT training to enhance employee proficiency with company systems and tools.
- System Performance and Analytics (Integrated Elements)
- Monitor system performance and analyze data to deliver actionable insights.
- Collaborate with management to generate operational and financial KPI reports.
- Digital Strategy and SEO Alignment (Key Aspects)
- Support website and online presence management through SEO optimization and performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement (Key Aspects)
- Stay informed about emerging technologies to implement best practices and drive system improvements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, onboarding/offboarding processes, and ticketing systems.
- Expertise in IT support tools, ticketing systems, and Windows OS.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO optimization, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
- Knowledge of IT security practices, VPN configuration, and system administration
Soft Skills: -Strong problem-solving and communication skills for effective technical support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organizational efficiency.
