Role: App/Cloud Support Associate Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
- Use problem solving skills to keep our world class systems delivering value to our clients by maintaining custom and/or software application code.
- Work in challenging and dynamic environments.
- Increase efficiency by optimizing work across one or more clients.
Application Support Undertake some or all of the following:
- From requirements gathering through deployment, work with business users on system initiatives with responsibility for maintaining product road maps and detailed project plans
- Work closely with business users, maintain and continually enhance business systems including reporting and analysis capabilities to meet ever-changing business requirements
- Ensure the application is active and operating according to service commitments for assigned deliverables
- Organize and prioritize work effectively to facilitate resolution of problems and system continuity
- Ensure application maintenance work is being followed according to quality standards
- Ensure that primary support toward installation of application releases into production is being provided
- Assist in monitoring the budget by providing estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks
- Engage the team on Risk Management and Defect Prevention best practices.
- Work with different stakeholders to gather and interpret user/system requirements into support specifications.
- Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the application
- May create operational documentation for the application
Skills and Experience Required:
- Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications
- Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards
- Develop system specifications and interfaces for complex components
- Create operational documentation for the application
- Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production
- Maintain applications according to SLAs
- Conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting, ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work
- Develop and implement testing plans
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle
- Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications
- Analyze, design, build, and/or test new components or enhancements to existing modules
