NXT GIG is seeking a dedicated and skilled Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s network and computer systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
You will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, as well as monitor system performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking and systems administration, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities- Deploy, configure, and maintain network and computer systems, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure availability and reliability.
- Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users on computer systems and applications.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery processes.
- Document network configurations, installations, and maintenance tasks for reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software and systems administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, backup solutions, and security standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with users and team members.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are a plus.
