Sound Technician

• Set up, test, and operate professional sound equipment for live events, studio recordings, and broadcasts.
• Monitor and adjust audio levels to ensure optimal sound quality during performances or recordings.
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and creatives to align sound design with the project’s vision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues swiftly, particularly during live events.
• Mix, edit, and enhance sound using industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs).
• Maintain, service, and repair audio equipment as required.
• Provide technical support and training to internal team members when needed.
• Stay updated on emerging audio technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 4 years proven experience as a Sound Technician or Audio Engineer in live events, studio recording, or post-production environments.
• Experience working within the franchise sector and understanding stakeholder dynamics among franchisors, franchisees, and suppliers is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in using audio mixing consoles, microphones, signal processors, and other professional sound equipment.
• Working knowledge of DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
• Strong understanding of recording, mixing, editing, and mastering workflows.
• Experience working with DaVinci Resolve and the Blackmagic Camera Ecosystem
• Familiarity with soundproofing techniques, acoustics, and studio setup.
• Knowledge of wireless microphone systems and audio network configurations.
• Ability to perform under pressure and solve problems in real-time.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Fluency in Spanish is essential to effectively communicate with our overseas team.
• Demonstrated experience managing remote teams, particularly in the Latin American region.
