Full Time Cook/Chef Required

Job description

Mascot Corner Café are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Cook/Chef to work full time at its busy café in Mascot.

• A Diploma or above relevant qualification with a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role and suitably qualified to perform role. Working high volume short order cooking
• Must be able to get to Mascot (car is ideal) with early 5:45 am starts
• Must be willing to work as part of a team and take direction

• Someone with a can-do positive attitude who enjoys their work
• Be fast, reliable, organised, and passionate about food
• Have an eye for detail and an obsession with high-quality output
• Have a proven ability to thrive within a high volume, high turnover establishment
• Continually maintain high production, productivity, and customer-service standards
• Have sound communication skills
• Have the ability to think on their feet and handle pressure well
• A changing seasonal menu with weekly specials. Providing you the chance to experiment and try new dishes.
• Communicate directly with supplier to organise orders
• Salary: $73,150 - $80,000/ year plus superannuation
