Project Coordinator – Platforms
The Aon Australia Commercial Risk Product and Platforms team are looking for a part-time Platform Coordinator. As the Platform Coordinator you will work alongside the platform and product managers in ensuring the smooth operation of the ACL governance and administration satisfaction.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both from home and from our Sydney office for three days a week.

What the day will look like
Working closely with the Platform Managers and Director of Strategic Platforms you will develop relationships across the Commercial Risk and Technology teams to ensure there is an ongoing focus on the delivery of the roadmap, management and controls of project and strategic risks and any outstanding actions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support and manage the APAC ACL Management Board and Advisory Committee including creation of all preparatory materials, specific responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Platform Manager - Vertex and Director of Strategic Platforms to plan and manage the overall roadmap
- Ensure impacts to roadmap, including deviations from scope or time are managed through decision papers and change control
- Escalate Change Requests to the ACL Management Board (as per delegated authority levels)
- Support the Chair of the ACL Advisory Committee and ACL Management Boards by preparing for and documenting the meetings (agenda, minutes and supporting material)
- Initiate and maintain controls including risks, issues, schedules and change controls reporting across the platform to ensure they are current and accurate in line with reporting deadlines.
- To review and raise awareness of dependency impacts of multiple projects across the platform
- Advise and coach technology and platform teams (across APAC) on ACL governance and prioritization model expectations

Skills and experience that will lead to success- Exposure and knowledge of General Insurance processes and platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment – both leading and participating
- Self-motivated, shows initiative, enthusiastic.
- 3-5 years of General Insurance experience
- 3+ years of Project management experience (advantageous)
