Position: Full-Time Painter

Location: 2B/20 Valediction Rd, Kings Park NSW 2148

Archewell Construction Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our team on a full-time basis.

• Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming
• Applying paints, stains, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces

• Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
• Mixing and Matching Colours: Achieving the desired colour palettes using various paint formulations.
• Applying Varnishes and Finishes: Adding protective and decorative layers to enhance the durability and appearance of surfaces.
• Decorative Finishes: Creating faux finishes, such as marble or wood grain effects.
• Covering Surfaces: Protecting surrounding areas using drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheets to prevent paint splatter and staining.
• Measuring and Estimating: Calculating the amount of paint and materials needed for the project.
• Working with Clients: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure the desired outcome.
• Maintaining Tools and Equipment: Keeping painting tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Cleaning Up: Removing paint spills, and cleanup after the job.
• Project Planning: Scheduling and organizing the painting work to complete the job on time.

• Proven experience as a professional painter
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques
• Relevant qualifications or trade certification preferred
