The Successful Trade candidate must possess the following: The skill and experience in
- preparing surfaces of vehicles, matching and mixing colours and applying paint.
- Effective organisation and time management skills with minimal supervision
- Reliable, responsible and have good communication skills.
- Strong safety awareness.
- removing rough spots on vehicle panels
- sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
-applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
- touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
- removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
- painting signs and artwork on vehicles
-treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
Minimum annual earnings will be $76,640 per annum which is based on (ordinary hours per week + guaranteed overtime hours). Employees have the opportunity to earn in excess of this amount by doing more overtime.
