Client Manager, Global & Corporate

Global & Corporate is a core Client Segment within Aon Risk Solutions, that specializes in the provision of exceptional Insurance and Risk Management Services to a broad portfolio of National and top ASX listed businesses, including major multinational organisations.

The Client Manager is responsible for service delivery to a varied portfolio of large key clients and is considered a key driver to our long-term growth ambitions in this segment.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Aon Perth office.

What the day will look like
  • Managing several key corporate clients
  • Providing an exceptional level of client service
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the Global & Corporate business
  • Manage daily client enquiries pertaining to their risk and insurance programs, including claims (noting you will have the support of a local legally trained claims team for complex claims)
  • Identifying development opportunities for your designated portfolio and designing appropriate servicing solutions
  • Achieving budgeted revenue for retention, and growth on existing and new business
  • Working with our Client Service Support, Broking, Claims and the wider Aon Global network to deliver optimised outcomes for the client
  • Providing leadership and mentorship to support staff

Skills and experience that will lead to success

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience and success servicing a portfolio of clients. Key requirements include:

  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with exceptional communication abilities
  • Extensive experience within the insurance market managing a portfolio of clients as a broker, underwriter or insurance manager
  • Strong technical understanding of a broad range of insurance products and risk solutions
  • Experience in handling large claims
  • Excellent cross selling abilities
  • Experience dealing with global insurance market centres including Lloyd’s
  • A high level of understanding of client profitability
  • A keen entrepreneurial spirit and flare for business development
  • Exceptional and pro-active client relationship management capabilities, which includes attracting, retaining and growing clients
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point products
  • A high degree of resilience and an outcome focused approach.
