As our Senior Bid Writer, you will coordinate and develop funding submissions, including tenders, grants, and strategic business development papers. This is initially a six month contract covering parental leave. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading all funding submissions, working closely with stakeholders across yourtown
- Developing formal proposals to secure external support for yourtown services, including submissions to local, state and federal government and other funding bodies
- Write, edit and review material for tenders
- Producing high quality and innovative pre-qualification tender documentation, including budget analysis, preparation of management briefs and preparation of final submission material
- Collaborate with stakeholders across yourtown
- Identify funding opportunities from sources aligned to yourtown’s mission
- Provide guidance in relation to the continuous improvement and quality management of tender writing and funding proposals

The right candidate for this role will:
- Preferably hold a relevant bachelor degree level qualification along with experience in the sourcing and achievement of grant funding and the preparation of submissions and tenders
- Have demonstrated project management and analytical skills
- Be a strong communicator and confident networker.
- Hold a high level of professional and persuasive writing skills, including experience in the development of grants, tenders and funding submissions to a range of government and non-government audiences
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
