Sunshine Kids has been providing care to families in Sydney’s inner west for 17 years. Our passionate team members educate and care for 103 children per day in our converted warehouse space. We take inspiration from the Reggio Emilia philosophy and our philosophy is based upon nurturing, learning, respect and community.We are located close to local parks, cafes which can be enjoyed during lunch breaks.
About the role
When placing you with a team, we will consider your experience, passions and interests to place you with the team that best fits. In this role, you will be part of a supportive and passionate team of educators who deliver a high quality and inclusive early childhood program for children that reflects current theory, practice and the values and philosophies of Sunshine Kids.
In this role you and your team will be allocated non contact programming time together each week to plan for your group and develop the program. You will have access to training and mentoring by our Mentor from REAIE and Educational Leader who will support you in relation to programming and planning.
About You
Bachelor in Early Childhood or working towardsCurrent Working with Children Check (NSW)
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
Commitment and skill in providing quality experiences and inviting learning environments for children
Ability to work as part of a team
Current Early Childhood First Aid certificate and CPR
