The Role:
As an experienced and driven Senior Technical Business Analyst at AP+, you will join the Payment Solutions & Analysis team, supporting the delivery of product features working in a 24-month max term contract role. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring product requirements are clearly documented for development by cross-functional teams.As well as acting as the liaison between product management and development teams, you will contribute to the overall consistency and quality of the AP+ business analysis practice.
Proposed Role Responsibilities are:
- Maintain the AP+ business analysis standards.
- Conduct gap analysis to ensure full coverage of requirements.
- Work closely with product owners and managers to explore solution options for new business requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners and managers to assess how evolving business requirements can be addressed with existing solutions.
- Analyse business workflows to create process maps and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Develop functional and non-functional specifications (e.g., user stories for various personas, wireframes, epics) for product changes and enhancements.
- Create technical specifications to translate user requirements into technical language for development teams.
- Prepare training materials and provide support to end customers.
- Support and conduct user acceptance testing, putting yourself in the end customer’s shoes.
- Develop and refine technical BA tools, processes, templates, etc.
- Mentor and guide other technical business analysts.
Proposed Position Requirements are:
- Detailed understanding of payment process flows and real-time payments
- NPP Messaging, Product rules and Participant Back Office requirements
- Expert knowledge of ISO 20022 standard
- Experience with payment vendor applications (e.g. FIS, Swift and paytec)
- Experience in ISO 20022/NPP and Message Specification (MUGS)
- Proven experience in a Solution Design/Technical BA background.
- Use of Waterfall or agile methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
