Fencer/Labourer

Building and Construction General On-site Award[MA000020]

**Key Responsibilities: **

• **Painting: ** Apply paints, stains, and coatings to fences and other surfaces as required.
• **Fencing: ** Assist in the installation and repair of various types of fencing.
• **Cleaning: ** Maintain cleanliness and organization of work sites, tools, and equipment.
• **Yard Work: ** Perform general yard maintenance tasks such as landscaping, debris removal, and site preparation, job preparation, loading & unloading trucks – washing vehicles& plant
• **Construction Activities: ** Support diverse construction tasks, including material handling, assembly, and other duties as assigned.
• **Safety: ** Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• **Experience: ** Previous experience in general labor, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• **License: ** Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• **Skills: ** Ability to operate various tools and equipment used in construction and fencing projects. Ability to follow instructions – work alone at times
• **Punctuality: ** Must be reliable and able to consistently arrive on time.
• **Honesty and Reliability: ** Strong ethical standards and dependability are essential.
• **Physical Stamina: ** Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• **Communication: ** Basic verbal and written communication skills.
