About the Role

• Assists Head Chef with planning menus and estimating costs;
• Prepares and cooks a range of Southeast Asian dishes;
• Orders and receives food supplies;
• Ensures raw materials and ingredients are in good quality;
• Minimize food wastage and manage labour costs effectively;
• Ensure adherence to portion control, quality standards, and presentation for all dishes;
• Collaborate with management and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations;
• Ensures all food is prepared to high standards;
• Maintains a safe and hygienic kitchen environment;
• Supervises and trains junior kitchen staff;
• Discusses food preparation issues with Head Chef, Manager and other kitchen staff;
• Comply with food hygiene regulations and Occupational Health & Safety standards.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent employment experience
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Effective communicator and team player
