About the role
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Test Manager to lead the testing function on a nation-building project for the federal government in a brand new technology hub. This is a critical leadership role where you’ll define and drive testing strategies, quality standards, and team development.If you’re passionate about building high-performing QA teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale technology solutions, this is the perfect opportunity
Key responsibilities- Develop and oversee the end-to-end test strategy, planning, and execution
- Lead and mentor a team of testers (entry-level to experienced), fostering a high-performance culture
- Define test frameworks, methodologies, and automation strategies
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, non-functional, regression, and integration testing
- Manage test environments, tools, and data to support efficient testing cycles
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align testing with project goals
- Implement best practices for defect management, test automation, and continuous improvement
- Drive risk-based testing approaches to optimize test effort and delivery timelines
- Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metrics to senior stakeholders
