Prerequisites:

The Drill Fitter must have minimum relevant qualifications & experience in servicing and maintaining hydraulic controlled drilling systems and heavy vehicles associated with the onshore drilling industry for a minimum of 10 years.

Principal Function:

To maintain, service and repair hydraulic & mechanical systems on truck and track mounted drill rigs as well as compressor and boosters and related support vehicles and accessories to the highest industry standards, in a safe, cost-effective manner, while complying with GeoDrill Drillings policies and procedures.

Accountability:

The Drill Fitter will be accountable for:

• Punctuality: Comply to all work start and end times.
• Compliance to all HSE policies and procedures; including Client HSE policies.
• Ensuring Pre-start checks and function checks operating equipment.
• Ensuring that adequate duty of care is exercised in all aspects of your work activities.
• Effective communication.
• Inventory control.
• Written Status Reports & Condition Inspections.
• To provide technical expertise to other GeoDrill Employees.

Housekeeping:

• Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean, tidy & hazard free state.
• Maintaining work area and equipment in a clean hazard free condition.
• Disposing of rubbish in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintaining living quarters in a clean, hygienic condition.
• Ensuring the highest levels of personal hygiene at work.

Salary:

• From $100,000 per year
