Job Description

Procurement Strategy:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives and market trends.
  • Identify and evaluate OEM suppliers within the cosmetics and personal care industries, assessing their capabilities, quality standards, and reliability.

Supplier Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with OEM suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure favourable agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly to maintain smooth operations and high-quality standards.
  • Conduct regular supplier assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous optimisation of the supply chain.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for cosmetics and personal care products, including safety, labelling, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes throughout the supply chain, ensuring product integrity and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

We know we are looking for a rare profile but given our rapid growth trajectory we need someone who has experience of dealing with cosmetics / personal care OEM / ODM's, this is non-negotiable!

In addition we will assess for the following:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supplier management, within the cosmetics and personal care industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools for procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance tracking.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels within the organisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
