Payroll Officer

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to a Payroll Implementation project. This role requires someone who is not only proficient in payroll practices but also committed to continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

• Manage end-to-end processing of fortnightly employee payroll data accurately and to deadline
• Process, maintain and reconcile payroll accounts
• Complete all necessary compliance lodgements for single touch payroll, superannuation, and payroll tax
• Participate in the Payroll Implementation project, including requirements gathering, data analysis and manipulation, data migration, testing and go-live support and change management
• Prepare payroll reporting for management as required
• Drive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll processes

What you bring:

• Proven experience in a similar Payroll position
• Experience in leading projects, preferably implementation of systems
• Proficiency in using Reckon, Aurion or Netsuite preferred
• Quick learner and an effective user of technology
• Intermediate to advanced excel skill
