Requirements

Role Overview:

As the Program Manager for our Core Banking Transformation, you will apply your leadership redefine the future of the bank. This high-impact role involves overseeing the migration of our bank’s processes, customers, and staff to a new core banking platform.

You will work closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and partners to ensure the program’s success, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of the core banking transformation program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior executives, department heads, and key stakeholders to communicate program objectives, progress, and risks.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop and manage detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets. Ensure resources are allocated effectively and risks are mitigated.
  • Team Coordination: Oversee a multidisciplinary team, including IT, operations, customer service, and external vendors, to deliver program milestones.
  • Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition for customers and staff, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely program documentation, including status reports, project plans, and risk logs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of program management experience, with a strong track record in leading large-scale transformations within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Core Banking Knowledge: Deep understanding of core banking systems, migration processes, and the associated business and technical challenges.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors in a complex, dynamic environment.
  • Project Management Expertise: Strong proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
  • Change Management: Expertise in driving change management initiatives, including training, communication, and support strategies.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
