Mechanical Project Engineer

You will apply your mechanical engineering expertise to design and support underground conveyor systems, while engaging directly with clients and stakeholders. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you'll manage the technical aspects of projects, conduct site visits, and lead tender negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze underground coal conveyor systems, including power and tension calculations.
• Use Inventor and ANSYS for 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients, handling inquiries and building strong relationships.
• Collaborate with sales teams during tendering, preparing scopes of work, pricing sketches, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Conduct site inspections (1-2 times per month) to support project implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation, including manuals and parts lists.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in bulk material handling or mining.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Inventor, and ANSYS for modeling and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of underground conveyor systems, power and tension calculations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on client relationships.
• Ability to travel for site inspections.
