The need now exists for a Sunshine Coast-based Finance Manager to lead the Finance team for their ANZ entity.
The Role
Managing one direct AP/AR report, the Finance will themselves reporting to a Global Controller, with a dotted line to the ANZ country Manager.
The Finance Manager will be entrusted with a broad range of responsibilities, encompassing both the local and the international flavours of their role. As such, the Finance Manager will be responsible for reporting across 4 levels. Locally, the Finance Manager will first and foremost be responsible for the preparation (and not just the review) of month-end accounts.Included in this is the management of Cash-flow forecasting and the day-to-day operations of the Finance function.
Second to this, the Finance Manager will be responsible for statutory reporting, inclusive of both the preparation of Financial Statements as well as matters of Compliance regarding ATO and ASIC regulations.
Maintain the locally focus of this position, the third area of reporting will see the Finance Manager prepare local Management Reports, with a focus on supporting the Country Manager in matters of Budgets, Annual meetings and operational requirements.
Being part of a Global organization, the Finance Manager's fourth area of reporting responsibility will at a Group level, ensuring that the preparation of internal reporting in line with Group Accounting requirements.
The Finance Manager themselves will be responsible for and understand the internal controls that govern the Finances of the ANZ entity. As such, the Finance Manager will manage the Audit relationship and will be the first port of call regarding all matters of Finance and Compliance.As such, the Finance Manager will manage key internal (Head Office., Country Office) and external relationships (Banking, Legal, Insurance).
