Are you an experienced Finance Officer looking for a stable contract opportunity? Our client, a well-established business based in Osborne Park, is seeking a Finance Officer to cover a 10-month maternity leave contract. This role offers a great chance to work within a supportive team while utilising your financial expertise.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

✔️ Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
✔️ Assisting with month-end reporting and general ledger maintenance
✔️ Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
✔️ Handling bank reconciliations and assisting with cash flow management
✔️ Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations

✔️ Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Prior experience in a Finance Officer role or similar
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, prior use using TechnologyOne will be highly regarded.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
