We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Finance / Managerial Accounting (Controlling) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and proven experience in project controlling and event-based revenue recognition (new service management solution).Additionally, the SME should have experience in margin analysis, material ledger, and inventory valuation. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, optimize processes, and ensure accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implements SAP solutions to meet business requirements, translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Implement and oversee event-based revenue recognition processes in line with new service management requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to streamline processes.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP Finance / Controlling modules and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay current with SAP updates, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimal system performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of event-based revenue recognition.
- Experience in margin analysis (ex CO-PA) and the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- Hands-on experience with material ledger and inventory valuation in an SAP environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance / Controlling modules, including configuration and implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven S/4HANA implementation experience
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or SAP Certification are a plus.
