Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  1. Brand Strategy & Creative Direction
Lead the ANZ division in creating and executing brand strategies that enhance positioning, drive customer loyalty, and engage both new and existing consumers.
Oversee the development of creative assets, ensuring alignment with the brand's purpose, vision, and voice.
Foster brand awareness and advocacy through media, influencer partnerships, and public engagement.
  1. E-Commerce Strategy & Growth
Define and execute the e-commerce strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and customer retention.
Take full P&L ownership, ensuring revenue, margins, and costs align with business targets.
Expand digital sales channels, including direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites, marketplaces (Amazon, eBay), and mobile platforms.
  1. Digital Marketing Leadership

Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies across SEO, PPC, email, affiliates, display ads, and social media.

Align online brand positioning with digital touchpoints, including influencers and paid media campaigns.
Leverage data-driven customer segmentation to drive targeted campaigns and enhance customer journeys.
Integrate digital and offline channels (click-and-collect, loyalty programs) for a seamless omnichannel experience.
  1. User Experience & Customer Journey Optimisation
Ensure website and mobile platforms are optimised for speed, UX/UI, and functionality to improve key metrics such as conversion rates and AOV.
Implement personalisation strategies to enhance customer engagement and drive higher conversion.
Continuously refine customer journeys through data insights and feedback to remove friction points.
  1. Technology & Platform Management
Work with the UK IT lead to integrate e-commerce platforms with business systems.
Stay ahead of emerging e-commerce technologies (AI, chatbots, AR/VR) and assess their impact.
  1. Marketplace Strategy
Manage third-party marketplaces (Amazon, eBay), optimising product listings, pricing, and promotions.
Ensure compliance with marketplace regulations and maintain key partnerships to maximise profitability.
  1. Operations & Fulfilment
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to streamline order fulfilment, warehousing, and inventory management.
Lead efforts to optimise last-mile delivery, improving speed, cost efficiency, and transparency.
  1. Data Analytics & Performance Monitoring
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Unifida, etc.) to track key KPIs, including revenue, traffic, conversion rates, CLV, CAC, and ROAS.
Provide data-driven reports to the executive team, with insights and recommendations.
Implement A/B testing and experimentation strategies to optimise site performance and marketing campaigns.
  1. Leadership & Team Management

Build and develop the e-commerce team, fostering a data-driven and high-performance culture.

Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, IT, and customer service to ensure business alignment.

Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure optimal performance and ROI.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses to multi-million-dollar revenue levels.
  • Experienced brand builder with a demonstrated ability to drive customer engagement.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, online sales strategies, UX/UI, and platform management.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and financial oversight for e-commerce.
  • Deep knowledge of e-commerce analytics, data insights, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with global e-commerce expansion.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel strategies and retail integration.
  • Ability to be agile and adjust plans quickly to maximise revenue and profit.
