What you will be responsible for:

Supporting procurement operations for 23 Business Units in our Aluminium Division across Australia
Monitoring supply risk, quality, price, and lead times with domestic and international suppliers
Supporting effective management of stocked items to improve inventory availability using a customer-centric and data-driven approach
Fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a competitive market advantage
Evaluating supply tenders and preparing purchase orders
Processing import documentation, invoices, and shipments efficiently
Maintaining delivery dates and coordinating inward goods
Embracing a continuous improvement mindset

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of proven procurement experience with exposure to the supply chain
Experience with analytical tasks related to domestic and international freight and shipping
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of importing
Demonstrated problem resolution skills
Exceptional computer skills with experience in MS Office, purchasing software, databases, and BI tools
