The River Hotel (Macthom Pty Ltd) are seeking an experienced, passionate Barista to deliver an exceptional experience to every customer. If you enjoy the art of crafting quality beverages and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we want to hear from you!

Annual Remuneration: $69,000 – $72,000 plus super

• Prepare, serve, and sell a wide range of beverages including espresso-based coffees (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), mixed drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic refreshments.
• Select and grind coffee beans to produce consistently excellent coffee.
• Clean and maintain bar service areas, coffee stations, espresso machines, and glassware.
• Tap kegs, attach supply lines, and ensure dispensers, shelves, and fridges are fully stocked.
• Process customer payments via cash registers while ensuring efficient, friendly service.
• Promote and upsell daily specials, products, and light snacks offered on the menu.

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least an AQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality (or a related field). Alternatively, at least one year of relevant experience will substitute for the formal qualifications.
