Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Full-Time Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of accounting principles, cash flow management, auditing processes, and business efficiency.

You will play a key role in supporting financial operations, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and helping improve financial processes to enhance business performance. This position also requires strong communication skills, including fluency in English, and the ability to support Human Resources functions when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash flow, ensuring sufficient funds for business operations and optimizing cash reserves. Regularly forecast cash needs and adjust strategies as necessary.

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Payroll Processing: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely payments to employees.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to guide strategic financial decisions and enhance overall business efficiency.

Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring timely payment and full compliance with tax laws. Collaborate with external advisors for tax planning and strategy.

Auditing: Support internal and external audits by preparing required documents and collaborating with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial records.

Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish, monitor, and improve internal financial controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.

General Clerical Duties: Perform routine clerical accounting tasks such as organizing and filing financial records, maintaining documentation for audits, and ensuring records are up to date.

Accounting Software Management: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) to manage data, generate reports, and track financial transactions effectively.

Business Efficiency: Continuously identify areas for improvement in accounting processes, seeking to streamline operations and improve overall business efficiency. Recommend and implement process improvements where applicable.

Multilingual Communication: Communicate effectively with international stakeholders in English (being multilingual will be beneficial but not essential), supporting seamless collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA will be highly regarded).

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role, including strong experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and auditing.

Languages: Fluency in English is required. Additional language skills are a plus for working with international teams and clients.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with financial forecasting and reporting tools.

Knowledge: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and best practices for managing company finances.

Business Efficiency Focus: Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies in financial processes and suggest improvements to enhance business operations and reduce costs.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling financial data, with an ability to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Auditing Experience: Practical experience with both internal and external audits, including document preparation and interaction with auditors.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in explaining complex financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.

Additional Skills & Attributes: Ability to manage confidential financial information with discretion.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
